I’m Hayley and I am The Roving VA - a virtual and personal assistant and social media manager working remotely to give YOU more hours back in your day... and life! The Roving VA was borne out of the want to be able to work anywhere, at any time and still be able to do what I love and support you!


I have a real passion for helping people, travelling & making a difference in people's lives whether that's helping you build your social media, giving you strategies to help you organise your day or just sorting out your inbox. In a nutshell, I'm here to do what I do best so that you have time to do what you do best!

I’m located in Brisbane, Australia and worked in the media industry for 22 years and have an extensive background in admin, sales support, advertising, graphic design, event planning & so much more.

With the ever-increasing pace of life and how quickly it can change (hello 2020!), sometimes we just need a helping hand whether that’s a one-off task or a multitude of tasks that don't require you to hire someone full time.

The Roving VA Virtual Assistant & Social Media Manager
Individual, personalised 1:1 sessions focused on social media management or personal/home/office organisation. These sessions are customised according to what YOU need & can focus on areas you need help whether that be building a social media presence or getting your home/office better organised!

The Roving VA brings the skills of an experienced admin/personal/executive assistant straight to your business for the time or tasks needed rather than hiring someone full time. 


Some clients are hesitant to use a virtual assistant which is understandable. You are so used to having a full time assistant in the office who does it all but why pay someone for 40 hours when you may only need them for 10 hours? 

As a virtual assistant, I don't need to be in the office taking up space. I work remotely and am available via many methods including phone, email, chat, video conferencing & social media.

Here’s why a virtual assistant or personal assistant can beat having a full time employee:


You only pay me for the time I actually work. Even part time employees are usually expected to sit at their desks for a certain amount of time on the days they work regardless of the workload. With a virtual assistant you pay for the hours you need, as you need them: if you have a job that takes 1 hour, I’ll charge you for 1 hour, not a whole day!


I work from anywhere including my home office. You don’t need to provide me with a desk, a computer or even a mug. (p.s. I like my own coffee mug ;) I use many of the more popular programs and can even share my computer screen with you on your office computer, so working virtually together is safe and efficient.


I’ll take your brief direct from you, and then work out the best way to complete the task in a way that suits your needs. You will receive one-on-one support from me and a promise to always follow up afterwards!
